Responsibilities

 Translation in contracts, lecture notes, handouts, assessment, marketing materials and correspondence

 Proofread, edit, and revise translated materials.

 reading through original material and rewriting it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained

 retaining and developing specialist knowledge on specialist areas of translation

 prioritizing work to meet deadlines

Professional Requirements

• Degree in Translation / Language Studies or related discipline

• Excellent language skill in Chinese and English

• Able to work both independently and in group with good communication and interpersonal skills

• Candidate with interpretation skills and experience will be an advantage

• Fresh graduates with good initiative will also be considered

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

• Chinese word processing and computer skills are necessary

• Patient, organized and willing to work under pressure, good time & project management

• Preferably with some office working experience

• With lesser experience will also be considered as potential candidates

Remuneration and contact method

 Salary CNY4000 or above (As per the standard scale & based on the experience and qualifications))
